 Their energetic live performances, unique song writing ability and the release of their demo/ep has sparked a stir in their local scene. In early 04 Angelas Dish surprised everyone including themselves by selling out their demo release show. They sold 300 cd's in their first month, without the aid of a label or publicist. Angelas Dish main concern however is to remain focused on creating a new sound. Integrating alternative rock with pop; and maintaining musical integrity is an art form in itself, a challenge that this band seems to have a strong hold on already. They have been fortunate enough to play shows with bands such as Seraphs Coal, One Dollar Short, Thinktank, Something With Numbers and In the grey, all whilst half the band was still at school. Angelas Dish plan on releasing their debut EP album early 2005. As the popularity of the band increases, and as time will surely progress Angelas Dish is definitely a name to look out for in the near future. |
