Biography

Every year, a new trend comes, an old trend leaves, something becomes popular, then suddenly it's uncool. Something you can always count on though is the existance of these trend surfers, worrying too much about how they are going to fit in & how to make the quick dollar, as opposed to doing what they want to do, and enjoy. It's a clear picture in the Bagster camp however, no trends have influenced them, heck no trends have even come close to them. Probably the most un-cool thing you can have in a punk band is a horn section. The instant reaction from the not so cluey folks is to bolt, screaming "oh no horns, it must equal ska! help me, the circus is in town!". But to those who stick around, who don't pigeonhole, instantly see that Bagster provide something unique. Look at Rocket From The Crypt, Chicago, Huey Lewis & The News, they all feature prominant horn sections, but do they get classed as ska?

Fear not the horns...

The Bagster sound is a powerful combination of flat out punk rock, infectious pop-punk, and balls out rock 'n roll, is the simple description, but we'll leave you to form your own opinions once you've had a listen.
