Since then the band has encountered every musicians cliche imaginable including being banned from rehearsal rooms, being underpaid, not being paid at all, playing to huge crowds of 4 people, broken sticks, cymbals, strings and leads, gained members, lost members, big egos, genre shifts, strange auditions, mental and physical abuse (sometimes self inflicted) and long car trips to play gigs in strange towns. Through all of this, A Better Place does not falter and remain stronger than ever. Dedicated to take all the crap the music industry has to throw at them, A Better Place continue to write, record, release and tour their own brand of high energy progressive heavy metal.
