 Gerard ‘Gezza’ Quirk (drums) and John Joseph (vocals/guitars) have come full circle. After 3 years of writing and recording new material, their return is timely. Rock seems to have come full circle since earlier projects including The REALM and more recently TANK. The WILD HIGHS started as a solo project of Johnny’s. After TANK, Johnny began writing a collection of songs, defining his own style with the freedom and liberty to explore some of the heavier influences that motivated him for so many years. But when early demos were written on acoustic guitars, another style was emerging. Rich pop-soaked vocal melodies became a key ingredient. |
