Biography

Provoke are a straight up in your face, no bullshit hardcore band from Brisbane Australia. Formed in early 2005, Provoke have recorded a self titled EP, have a split CD in the works through PEE Records and have shared the stage in support of such hardcore heavyweights as Mindsnare, Most Precious Blood, Stronghold and local Brisbane legends Against and Mouthguard. On top of this, the band have toured to Sydney, with more shows upcoming around Australia before the year is out.
Provoke's approach to music is to cut the shit and get down to business, with a sound that has been compared to New York style hardcore. Fans of bands such as Madball, Agnostic Front, Skarhead, Murphy's Law, Cro-Mags and Sick of It all should be into this.
