When thinking about my favourite 10 albums of 2012, I realised that i'd actually spent the year either listening to classic rock/grunge albums or busy trying to write my own. So instead, these are my favourite 3 albums of this year.
After waiting years & years for Aesops new album, I was not let down. Stacks & stacks of super dense, cryptic lyrics to digest & self produced classic, dark Aes beats. The track Ruby 81' is mind blowing.
El-P featured heavily in my itunes as he not only released his own solo album, but also produced the entirety ogf Killer Mikes southern style R.A.P. music album. I never thought i'd say it, but I played EL-P this year a lot more than Aes.
